Nakiri is namely a traditional Japanese vegetable knife. It has unique and single single-sided blade design. It also one of the best tools to slice and chop for difficult cut veggie such as daikon and butternut squash. The deep and flat blade make them perfectly shredding large veggie like cabbage or lettuce. Keenly sharp edge can cut very thin slices, its prefect if you like to add ribbons of vegetable as a garnish.
Care & Use:
- Wash, rinse and dry the knife before using it for the first time.
- Hand-wash witht the soft side of sponge & mild detergent; rinse & dry with a soft cloth.
- Avoid from using liquid or powder detergent containing bleach or highly acidic substance.
- Sharpen with stone sharpener to maintain the sharpness.
- Do not attempt to cut, hit or shop frozen products or bones. It can cause the blade chip or break.
- Not recommended to cut small bones in fish or meat.
